Pets Adopted From Pet Pals For Life Will Be Spayed Or Neutered

CUZCOS
(a very happy Beagle)

Sometimes wonderful things happen when friends know other friends who want to help find homes for pets.  Mary Raskowski has a friend who wants a beagle to replace one she recently lost -preferably an adult female.

Susan saw a "give away" in the paper and called Mary who called her friend who came and got me - even though I am a male.  I didn't get to stay very long, though, because I am such an active little boy and the lady decided she would not be able to teach me how to be quiet in her home.

So back I went to my home with the Schaefers who are allergic to pets and felt bad about having me always in the garage or in a kennel.  Susan found a foster home for me by talking on the radio station where she works about this little beagle who needed a new home.

Two people called and a decision was made to let the Hatchs at Hartford foster me.  They had lost their dog a few months earlier and the children really wanted a new friend.  So Susan and Sharon from Pet Pals For Life came and picked me up.  I was having a wonderful time playing in the backyard with kids and water balloons but I was very good about leaving the Schaefers.

Pet Pals had made arrangements to take me to Dr. Williams so I could be neutered to eliminate unwanted puppies.  After my neutering, which Mary Raskowski generously paid for, the Hatchs came to pick me up.  Susan stopped by to give me a kiss and Sharon waited until the Hatchs came so she could meet my new foster family.  The three teenage Hatch children were immediately drawn to my happy face and loving disposition.  So off I went to live with my new foster family.

Susan and Sharon talked often the next three weeks with Becky Hatch to see how things were going.  Since another gentleman wanted to adopt me, a decision had to be made whether I was going to stay permanently with the Hatchs. Becky said it would depend on a total commitment by the family and she would let us know in a few days.

Of course you know the ending to my story because our success stories always have happy endings.  The Hatch family decided they were going to give me a home for the rest of my life.  I play frisbee in the backyard and love running with my new family.  We went up to a lake where I discovered even more water, which I love.  Susan, Sandy and Sharon from Pet Pals are going to come out soon and see how happy I am with my new family.

Don't you just love it? - friends who know friends?  I sure do!!!!

Love & Kisses,

Emperor Morgan Cuzcos (Susan and Sharon call me Cuzzie even though I have papers!)
