SNOOP

I
was a tiny, 8 week old curly fluff ball when Sylvia rescued
me. The little boy where I lived was not very nice to dogs and
he was going to "run me over with his tricycle".
Sylvia knew I would not survive in this home so she offered to buy
me from the people who owned me. They accepted and
I went to live with Sylvia at her boarding home. She decided
to call me "Shadow".
Sylvia
raises Yorkshire terriers so I got to be good friends with all of
her babies as well as other dogs who were boarded at Sylvia's.
It was such great fun playing with all the dogs. I really
loved Sylvia and followed her everywhere because she took such good
care of me.
Sylvia
knew I needed a permanent family so she called Sharon at Pet Pals For
Life to see if her group could find me a good home. Sharon
said they would and put posters about me at the Adopt A Pet Center
in her coffee shop and in pet adoption books they have around
town.
Many
people asked about me and one day Sharon called Sylvia to tell her
that Stacie, one of the girls who works at her coffee shop, wanted
to come see me. So Stacie, her friend Mike, and another friend
Kate came to meet me. I greeted them with lots of kisses and
happy wiggles, SO OF COURSE THEY HAD TO ADOPT ME!!
Stacie
and Mike have a new house they're living in so I have lots of room
to run around. They changed my name from Shadow to Snoop
because I was so curious about all the nooks and crannies in the
house when they first took me home. All of their friends came
to meet me and gave Stacie and Mike their approval - I AM SO CUTE!!
And soon Kate will come to live with us. Kate loves to give
squeezes and kisses.
There
is one little problem. Kate has a cat named Doodlebug and I
haven't learned yet not to bark at cats. But we will work on
it before Doodlebug moves in. Mike takes me everywhere and I
love to snuggle on his shoulder. Mike really loves me.
One day I went to the coffee shop to see Sharon and she gave me
extra special kisses.
I
had to go to Dr. Somers office to get neutered so there would not
be a problem with unwanted puppies when I grow up. That was an
"owie" but Mike and Stacie took special care of me until I
felt better.
How
wonderful it is that Pet Pals For Life has friends like Sylvia to
help rescue puppies like me. I am so happy Sylvia took me home
and Sharon found me just the right place to live.
Snoop,
a very special (and adorable) Schauzer
