SPAY AND NEUTER HELP FIND A SOLUTION TO HOMELESS PETS!
DID YOU KNOW? --There are 45 cats and 15 dogs born for every person born. --Only 1 out of 10 dogs born ever finds a permanent home. --Only 1 out of 12 cats born ever finds a permanent home. --800 dogs and cats are EUTHANIZED each hour in the United States because there are not enough homes! These alarming statistics are compounded by the inhumane puppy mill breeding operations which sell pets to brokers and research institutes. It is our conscious obligation to reduce the pet population by spaying and neutering our pets as well as working with legislation and legal authorities to shut down the inhumane breeding operations. On an individual basis it is our responsibility to have pets we adopt spayed or neutered to prevent such massive euthanasia. Many pets who are abandoned or strayed to shelters have not been altered so the unwanted litters keep multiplying. PLEASE JOIN OUR EFFORTS TO STOP THE PAIN AND SUFFERING ENDURED BY HELPLESS PETS WHO CANNOT DEFEND THEMSELVES!
REX CAME FROM A FARM WHERE THERE WERE 12 DOGS . NONE OF THEM WERE SPAYED OR NEUTERED. HE FOUND A GOOD HOME. MANY OF HIS LITTER MATES DID NOT.
